Ken Bird Memorial and and Scindia Schools (India) Scholarships
Scholarship Overview
- The University of Westminster is proud of its scholarship scheme, which supports students from diverse backgrounds and from many different countries. The scholarship scheme has now been running in a major way for 11 years and we are seeing the fruits of our investment. Many of the University’s former scholars have contributed vastly to their countries and communities and of course we have enabled many to secure a future for themselves and their families, which would not have been possible without the opportunities given by the scholarship scheme.
- Ken Bird was formerly Chair of the University’s Technology and Design Department. This scholarship reflects Ken’s interest in South Asia as well as his desire to help provide educational opportunities for women. The family of Ken Bird will take an active role in the choice and welfare of the scholar. The scholarship is awarded jointly with International Students House.
