The School of Law offers several fellowships and sponsorships including law scholarships for international students.
Competition for scholarships to study in the School of Law is extremely strong and there are strict requirements. You should check carefully that you are eligible to apply for a particular scholarship before making an application, as most of the schemes are restricted to certain courses and/or nationalities.
You must have an offer of study in place before you can apply for LLM funding. This means that you must make sure that you apply for the LLM as early as possible.
For 2011-2012 the School of Law will be offering a number of full scholarships to applicants for its full-time taught LLM programmes.

Students who wish to take a general LLM must choose any three modules from the areas mentioned above to qualify for the Department scholarship.

- Intellectual Property Law

All the above listed scholarships cover the full cost of tuition only; the scholarships do not cover ancillary course costs (books etc.) or accommodation fees. Scholarships are not payable directly to successful applicants but are set off against the student’s fee invoice.
Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, financial need and response to the personal statement question.
