Here is an another excellent opportunity to study in Canada through the York University International Scholarships. York University (Toronto Area) is in Ontario. You need to apply by February 15.
On personal note, both my sisters attended York, one receiving her BA and the other her PhD, so I know this school and recommend it.

Am I Eligible to Apply for York University International Scholarships?
- Posses an excellent academic record (“A” average or equivalent)
- Have demonstrated leadership through community service or excellence in the arts, sports or other areas of individual achievement
- Applying directly from high school no more than two years after graduation and have no previous university or college studies
- Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need.

Application includes
- An essay that includes your goals, ambitions and reasons for applying for York’s scholarship program (maximum 500 words) – Make this awesome!!!
- A statement outlining your financial need (maximum 250 words)
- One letter of reference
- A nomination letter from your school
- Financial Declaration Form
- A list of activities, community involvement, awards and honors. Include the start date/end date of the activity; name of the organization/school; number of hours; and relevant details.
