- The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program was established by the Hungarian Government with the aim of promoting the internationalization of Hungarian higher education by attracting top foreign students from all over the world to study in Hungary and experience high-quality education offered in this country.
- This scholarship program is based on bilateral educational cooperation agreements signed between the Ministries responsible for education in the Sending Countries/Territories and Hungary or Hungarian educational institutions.

Am I Eligible to Apply?
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
- Be eligible to apply for study programs that are indicated within the educational cooperating programs in effect between Hungary and the specific Sending Partner.
- Meet the basic entry requirements for the course that you intend to apply for.
- Be a citizen or permanent resident of the Sending Partner country through which you will apply for the scholarship.
- Be classified as an international student
