Am I Eligible to Apply?
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
- Be classified as a citizen or permanent resident of one of the eligible countries
- Be classified as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes
- Have received, and accepted, an offer of admission for a taught Master’s degree at the University of Birmingham UK Campus to study in the 2021/22 academic year.
- Be planning to start your studies at the University in September/October 2021 on a course delivered on-campus.
- Be an academically exceptional student (proof should be provided in the scholarship application statement)
- Have, or be expecting to achieve a first-class overall grade (at least 70% as per the UK grading system) in a bachelors degree or its equivalent
NOTE:
- Students who have previously received a full scholarship or sponsorship covering full tuition fees from an alternative internal or external source are also not eligible for this scholarship.
- Scholarship recipients must have sufficient funds to cover the full cost of living at the University of Birmingham (plus any visa/travel expenses associated with studying in the UK) and be in a position to pay the outstanding tuition fees that are not covered by the scholarship.

- If you meet all the eligibility requirements for this scholarship, and you have been issued with and accepted admission to a Master’s degree at the University of Birmingham, you can apply for this scholarship.
- Application is done using the online scholarship application form accessed using the website link below.
- You must complete the form accurately and in full, as you cannot amend the form after submission. Incomplete application forms will not be considered.
- Also, do not fill submit duplicate admissions. The first form you submit is what will be reviewed.
NOTE: This scholarship is only available for 2021. There is therefore no option for deferring the scholarship to a later date.
